Before you can start entering treatments in AgroVision Sows, you must create your treatment journals. A journal combines a cause and a medicament, a journal must always consist of a medicament and a cause. Read more on how to create treatment plan.

To register treatments on animals, go to "Animal events" > "Treatment" 

Here, you can choose to register the treatment on single animals by pressing "+" to create a new registration. Or you can also treat a group of animals by clicking the multiple animals icon.

New treatments are registered in the empty line at the top of the window.

When entering a single treatment, enter animal tattoo in the first column. Use the TAB key to move to the next field. Select treatment plan from the list and enter relevant information in the following fields. 

For treatment plans with retreatment, the program displays the number of treatments remaining. The setup of the retreatments is made in the "Settings" - "Health - "Treatment journals". It indicates how many times and how often the animals are to be treated. If the animal is to be treated three days in a row, it is written as 1,2,3 while if it is every other day a total of three times it is written as 1,3,5.

In the example above, the treatment journal 51 requires two days of repeated treatment.  (1.2)

When registering the first treatment for an animal, the program will show how many treatments remain. In this example, the program shows that you have completed one of two treatments. 

Using medication on group of animals

If you want to register treatments on a group of animals, click on the icon "Go to group registration" 

Press the "+" icon to create a new registration and choose your animals based on a location. By default, all animals in the location will be check marked. If not all animals should be treated, simply remove the check mark from the "Selected" column for any animals you don't want to treat.

You can also change the weight of the animals if required.  Press save when done.
